Celtic star Arne Engels was impressed by a piece presented through a Rangers fan in a former Derthrough, a former company, in Ibrox. The Belgian midfielder gave a loud withering stare as he was the subject of a “disgusting” incident in Rangers’ 3-0 win.
Engels had approached the corner flag to support Celtic captain Callum McGregor in taking a corner in the 88th minute. However, he screamed before hitting the turf. It became apparent that the 21-year-old had been struck by a missile.
The Celtic player obviously has pain while holding his head. His teammates and opposite players arrived here to verify their state of health. The referee Don Robertson stopped the adjustment to evaluate what had happened.
Robertson won the medal and passed it to a police officer throughout the field. The individual noticed holding a plastic bag containing the missile.
“Unfortunately, elements have been thrown. This is the ugly aspect that we don’t need to see. Unfortunately, it happens all too often. It’s Arne Engels,” said Sky Sports commentator Ian Crocker.
“Unfortunately, Arne Engels has been beaten out there. “
Former Celtic striker Chris Sutton said: “Absolutely ridiculous, isn’t it?
Former Rangers winger Neil McCann added: “It’s disgusting. We don’t need to see that. There is no position for that in football.
Crocker continued: “Three nil, a result to enjoy and a day for Rangers. And then someone does this. Engels looks smart now.
