NYON, Switzerland (AP) – Champions League champions Bayern Munich topped Wednesday’s list of finalists for 2019-20 UEFA champions in European football.
Bayern striker Robert Lewandowksi, who set career goals for his club last season, and goalkeeper Manuel Neuer have been nominated for European Player of the Year after a dominant season with the German team tripled.
3rd nominee Kevin de Bruyne, who won the players’ vote in England and played when Manchester City reached the Champions League quarter-finals and finished moment in the Premier League in Liverpool.
Bayern coach Hansi Flick, who only took the rate in November, is the sensiblest on a German list of men’s training appointments, including Jurgen Klopp of Liverpool and Julian Nagelsmann of Leipzig.
The preselections were voted on through the coaches of the 80 organizations that played in the organizational stages of the Champions League and Europa League, as well as through the media of the 55 uefa member countries.
The winner of the Women’s Champions League, Lyon, provided Wendie Renard and Lucy Bronze with the variety of the player and Jean-Luc Vasseur for the women’s football coaching award.

The voting jury consisted of Champions League Coaches and national teams, as well as specialized media in women’s football.
The prizes will be announced and presented in the men’s Champions League organization draw on 1 October at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.
