Less than six weeks after Bayern Munich beat Paris Saint-Germain to win the 2019-2020 Champions League, the 2020-21 festival draw begins today.

The groups will know who they will face in the first round of matches on 20 and 21 October, when they return to win European glory.

Here’s everything you want to know about the Champions League organizing-level draw this season.

What time is the draw and is it held?

The Champions League draw will begin at 16:00 GMT at RTS studios in Geneva and was originally scheduled to take a position in Athens, but moved due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Switzerland selected because Geneva is the headquarters of UEFA.

You can watch the draw on BT Sport 1, btsportcom and the BT Sport app from 15:45.
