The draw for the knockout playoff round of the new-look UEFA Champions League is upon us.

And there is going to be a blockbuster knockout playoff round tie between Manchester City and Bayern Munich or Real Madrid.

Here’s why.

The rating raffle will take position on Friday, January 31 at 6 p. m. ET / 11 A. M. GMT at the European football house in Nyon, Switzerland.

The league placements created the knockout support. Unlike the past seasons, where there would be open raffles, roads were established after the league phase was completed.

The new “seeding” formula means that the highest groups compete until those last legs of the tour with direct elimination.

For example, if we look at the best table, Liverpool and Barcelona ended first and time and we cannot play others before the latter. The third and fourth group, Arsenal and Interazonal, cannot play Liverpool or Barcelona for the semi -cultural.

However, the price of being placed on the table was confusing through the bad European seasons for Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid, which have become unforeseen with the imaginable adversaries before in the elimination towers direct.

In fact, Man City position has created the equality of heavy goods cars in the playoffs, because they will have to face position 11 or 12 in the classification: Real Madrid or Bayern.

PSG, meanwhile, will have to take on Barcelona or Liverpool in the round of 16 if they get through.

Teams are paired by their final position, in order (e.g. 9th and 10th, 11th and 12th, etc). Of each pair, teams will be drawn into opposite halves of the bracket. For instance, 11th (Real Madrid) and 12th (Bayern Munich) will split off and cannot play each other until the final (which is the case for all pairs).

Before the draw, the dual groups will have two imaginable opponents. If we resume Real Madrid and Bayern again, they will be attracted to play on 21 (Celtic) or 22 (Man City).

The eight unseeded teams are drawn first into a position in the bracket. This starts with 23rd and 24th, and moves down to 17th and 18th. In each case the first team drawn goes into the first half of the bracket (let’s say Celtic), meaning the other club in the pair (which would be Man City) goes into the second half.

The draw will then go to the planted teams, proceeding with 15 and 16 to 9 and 10. Once again, the first drawn team enters the first part of (so if it is Bayern, they would play Celtic), which automatically creates A circular play of the playoffs, and so on with the other dual team at the time (which makes Man City oppose Real Madrid).

Seed clubs will play the level at home.

Each will play once on Tuesday and once on Wednesday.
