Champions League semi-final LIVE: PSG star Kylian Mbappé prepares to start against Red Bull Leipzig

Kylian Mbappé is able to go to Paris Saint-Germain against RB Leipzig in Tuesday’s Champions League semi-final in Lisbon, coach Thomas Tuchel confirmed.

“He played 30 minutes against Atalanta and had no reaction. He’s had six days since then to improve his fitness, so of course he can start,” Tuchel said at a virtual press convention on the eve of the game.

He added: “We’ll do it after education if you can play the 90 minutes.”

But the French superstar had an effect in the primary when PSG arrived from behind to win 2-1 at the Estadio da Luz, preparing Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting for the decisive purpose in the time off.

The Club of the French capital is now in its first Champions League Semi-final since 1995.

“We are at the right time. We deserve to be here because we had an amazing season,” said Tuchel, whose team won a national treble in France.

“Surely we’re ready, hunger is there, but it’s a historic moment, it’s a semi-final and we’re here to get the most out of all the frames we’ve done and win it.”

Meanwhile, RB Leipzig coach Julian Nagelsmann said his team “hungry” to bring some other surprise.

Nagelsmann, 33, is the youngest coach to triumph in the Champions League quarter-finals and will again repeat Leipzig’s wonderful quarter-final victory over Atletico Madrid against PSG in Lisbon.

“We are a team that can check your luck in front of the groups in Europe. We saw that opposite atletico,” Nagelsmann said monday.

“Players want to win, we’re hungry and I see it in their faces.

“We were great against Atletico, now we have an opponent from Paris.

“We’ll have to avoid wasting the ball, because the PSG is very strong on the counterattack, but we’ll try to carry the game through the skin of the neck.”
