JOHANNESBURG – Kgaogelo Chauke is making immediate progress on his debut for English Premier League club Southampton FC next season.

The 17-year-old South African midfielder signed a two-and-a-half-year senior contract with the club before this year after an impressive outing in the progression ranks with the under-18s and under-23s respectively.

Since then, Chauke has taken his game to the next level. The moment he played for Southampton’s senior opposite Coventry City in the centrepiece of the English Football League (EFL) trophy last season.

During the preseason, Chauke, an integral component of coach Ralph Hasenh-ttl’s plans, made an appearance for the Saints in a friendly opposite to Fulham’s returnees last week.

Speaking after his january rise, an excited Chauke, who joined the club’s progression in 2017 from Thatcham Town, said he was extremely happy to see that his hard paintings paid off.

“I’m proud because I’ve been running ever since. I’m glad to see the paintings pay off,” Chauke said on the club’s official website. “It’s special because my family helped me a lot. “

Chauke is eligible to play for the England national team, but would like to use the green and yellow colors of Baphaana Bafana in the near future.

And it is news that Bafana coach Molefi Ntseki will be very happy to hear it given the jolgorio that accompanies the match in the English Premier League.

Southampton will begin his new crusade opposed to Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park (start at 4pm), and that would certainly be a feat for Chauke, even if he made an appearance at the bank.
