Chelsea and Liverpool are making the €50m PSV star their main target for the summer window after Manchester United’s interest in January.

Chelsea and Liverpool have reportedly made PSV Eindhoven star Johan Bakayoko the most sensible target for the summer window.

Manchester United were heavily connected with Bakayoko in January, while Premier League colleague Brentford had already seen a €40m offer rejected.

Bakayoko is said to be paid between €50 million and €60 million as Chelsea and Liverpool fight with Manchester City over his signature.

French champions Paris Saint-Germain and German giants Borussia Dortmund are keeping an eye on Bakayoko’s situation.

The 20-year-old Belgian foreigner has spent his entire senior career at Dutch club PSV, having progressed through their youth academy.

He can play as a winger or striker and has inspired in the Eredivisie this season, generating six goals and eight assists in 25 appearances.

Bakayoko scored in PSV’s 1-1 Champions League draw against Lens this previous season and also featured in organizational matches against Arsenal.

Bakayoko helped PSV win the KNVB Cup season and has been named Eredivisie Talent of the Month on several occasions.

They look set to clinch a title in the Eredivisie this season, with PSV lately 10 points off the top of the Dutch standings.

Bakayoko currently has a contract with PSV until the summer of 2026 and has been capped nine times by Belgium.
