Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca provides transfer hint amid interest in signing Manchester United star: Reports

Chelsea manager, Enzo Maresca, provided an indication of movement in the midst of interest in the firm of Alejandro Garnacho of Manchester United, according to Pys on the social media site X. The blues were connected to Argentinians with Naples in the window existing winter movement.

Speaking ahead of their upcoming Premier League clash against Manchester City, Maresca mentioned that the club is ‘okay for wingers’ despite reports suggesting that they are keen to sign Garnacho.

Alejandro Garnacho was one of United’s brightest stars this season, with 8 goals and five assists in all competitions. Argentinian is also scoring very well through existing head coach Ruben Amorim, however, interest from Chelsea and Napoli may force control to promote him.

By promoting Grenache, Manchester United will land on the green in the benefit and sustainability regulations, as it is a product of its remarkable academy and will not charge anything to buy.

It has been reported that Napoli were edging closer to signing Alejandro Garnacho in this window, but Manchester United’s asking price of €70m eventually forced them to pull out. Reports from Yahoo suggest that the Italian club have now set their eyes on Borussia Dortmund’s Karim Ademeyi.

Napoli reportedly made a €50 million offer for Garnacho, which he rejected through the Red Devils. The report also suggests that Chelsea may be ready for an official to be bidding for Garnacho, seeing that Napoli no longer remains theirs. United, however, will be wary of promoting Garnacho to one of their closest rivals.

The Blues, who are fourth in the Premier League table with 40 points, are unlikely to have a name challenge this season but will be keen to secure a place in the UEFA Champions League.
