Chelsea FC reaches deal to signal Bayer Star Leverkusen Kai Havertz

TEAMtalk reports that Chelsea FC is in the process of signing the 21-year-old as Frank Lampard continues his rebuild at Stamford Bridge.

The same article states that the Bleus are “increasingly confident” of signing the German before the 2020-21 Premier League season.

Media argue that negotiations between Chelsea FC and Bayer Leverkusen are on a complex level as the Blues seek to secure their third summer signing.

According to the same story, the west side of London seeks to offer very high fares in advance, as well as other payments.

TEAMtalk added that Chelsea FC will have to finalize how bills will be structured to secure the signing of the offensive midfielder.

The online sports page believes the Blues will offer Havertz a five-year contract to secure his long career at Chelsea FC until 2021.

Havertz has scored 12 goals and created six assists in 30 Bundesliga games this season to earn the interest of several clubs.

The German offensive midfielder has been a regular player for Bayer Leverkusen for more than four seasons, scoring forty-five goals in 148 games in all competitions.

Havertz has been with former Chelsea FC midfielder Michael Ballack after following in his footsteps by making a call for himself at Bayer Leverkusen.

Chelsea FC have already signed Ajax Hakim Ziyech and RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner in the 2020 summer window.

Les Bleus finished fourth in the Premier League standings to secure a position in the Champions League next season.
