Chelsea gave Seville a special touch when Edouard Mendy returns to training

Edouard Mendy returned to education on Monday, in a potentially massive touch for Chelsea’s striker in the club’s game with Sevilla.

Frank Lampard’s men are expected to begin the night of the Champions League crusade.

The Blues will receive the giant Seville of La Liga at Stamford Bridge for a highly anticipated clash.

Of course, a 90 minute is planned for Chelsea, with Sevilla’s European pedigree well known.

As such, this was undoubtedly one of Londoners’ main fears when, on their return to action after the foreign break this weekend, Southampton discovered the network three times to save a well-deserved percentage of loot at Stamford Bridge.

It was the moment in their last three Premier League games in which Chelsea conceded 3 goals, following a similar result against West Brom at the end of last month.

The fault for the Blues’ misfortunes in the back is, of course, widespread, Lampard’s men, at present, cannot be protected as a unit.

However, one user that has been mentioned as a club problem is Kepa Arrizabalaga.

The Spaniard is absolutely guilty by the time of Saturday afternoon in Southampton, the last of which seems like an endless series of infamous mistakes.

However, as mentioned above, before their 2020/21 European arc, Chelsea now gained momentum.

This takes the form of a quick return to the front.

Edouard Mendy, of course, one of the most sensible players to move to Stamford Bridge this summer.

After scoring two appearances in the first weeks of his time at Les Bleus, the integration of the backward Senegalese marksman into the foreign break and a next accumulated injury with his country.

Mendy didn’t have to face Southampton this weekend and is expected to spend at least another week on the sidelines.

But, as the trusty Matt Law confirmed, only the 28-year-old striker is on his recovery schedule, but even controlled to exercise with the rest of Frank Lampard’s team on Monday.

So it is not out of the question that Mendy can go back between posts opposed to the night of Seville:
