Chelsea have been in touch to discuss a possible move for RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko following his exit from the Champions League, TEAMtalk can reveal.
Chelsea are starting to move decisively in their search for a new striker. In addition to Alexander Isak and Victor Osimhen, who are still firmly on the Blues’ shortlist, we reported that in recent days the club coached by Enzo Maresca has asked for updated information on Dusan Vlahovic, and this option, at the moment, does not seem to be that hot.
That is why Chelsea are not deterred and continue to talk to agents and intermediaries of other profiles considered ideal for attack.
It is no coincidence that recently, after RB Leipzig’s final elimination from the Champions League, Chelsea asked about Sesko, included in the Blues’ list of possible targets for next summer.
Chelsea have not yet made a decision, given that the list of names is very long, but they plan to take advantage of this confusing European moment for Leipzig to go out and look for a more meritorious price.
For his part, Sesko feels ready to make the big leap to the Premier League and, after renewing his contract a few months ago until 2029, this season could be his last at the Red Bull club.
Premier League rivals Manchester United and Arsenal have also been linked with Sesko’s signing for months.

TEAMtalk also say the Blues will look at the backs of Ben Chilwell and Carney Chukwuemeka in January, with interest in either man.
We also know that Mykhailo Mudryk believes his medication failed due to the presence of a banned substance in his food, and we hope the timing turns out to be positive.
Meanwhile, Chelsea and Manchester United are hoping to complete a deal for Norwegian wonderkid Sverre Nypan, TEAMtalk can reveal.
The Blues could lose Malo Gusto, though, with the right-back on the radar or Liverpool, as per reports.
