Chelsea have made great progress in the contract negotiations with Willian and now hopes to succeed in a new deal with the Brazilian, according to reports.
The 31-year-old must leave Stamford Bridge for a move loose amid a stalemate over his demands, with the Brazilian foreigner on a three-year contract, while Chelsea has reportedly submitted only a two-year extension.
But Sky Sports reports that despite donations from a crowd of clubs, a breakthrough has been made with a new contract for the striker.
