The Blues announced the news in a post on their club’s official online page this morning.
Svitková joined Chelsea in the summer of 2022 after leaving former club West Ham United. The 28-year-old Czech foreign midfielder has been through a difficult time in southwest London. The midfielder struggled for a few minutes in her first year with the Blues. although the injuries did not help. Svitková arrived on loan at former club Slavia Prague in the second half of last season in a bid to buy some time to play and get back into top form. Now he will return to the Czech capital for good.
As a Chelsea player, Svitková made six appearances for the club in all competitions. She was absent for the first five months of last season before being loaned out.
Speaking after the announcement of her departure from Chelsea, Svitková said: “Sometimes it’s just not planned to happen, even if you need it so much and you do everything you can.
“I would like to thank everyone who has been there for me at all times. It was definitely a dream come true and I never will. Never say never yet for now, thank you Chelsea. To the amazing fans, you are amazing. You’re the best.
Svitková is the eighth player to leave Chelsea since the end of last season.
