Frank Lampard has been associated with more additions to the January move-in window, after Chelsea spent more than two hundred million pounds this summer.

But spending can be just as great for Chelsea when the market reopens in the new year.

Lampard now has several surplus players and a wonderful team to be satisfied after the madness of summer spending, and many are tied to moves after Christmas.

One of the players is Olivier Giroud, who had to settle for a small role for this season’s maximum but stole the screen with 4 goals against Sevilla on Wednesday.

Here are chelsea’s latest rumors.

Former Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is a double raid on his former club in January, according to reports from Italy.

Inter Milan’s manager will resume interest in midfielder N’Golo Kante and Olivier Giroud this new year, according to Italian publication Tuttosport.

Having played a small role this season, Giroud showed his courage against Frank Lampard when he scored all four goals in Chelsea’s goal against Sevilla on Wednesday.

The 34-year-old’s contract expires at the end of the season, however, he was on the same stage at the same time last year when he connected heavily with a move to Inter, before signing a new contract at Stamford Bridge last summer.

Meanwhile, Kante is under contract with Chelsea until 2023, and the West London club will qualify at most if he has to let the midfielder go.

Ikea Ugbo needs to follow in the footsteps of Tammy Abraham and Mason Mount forcing their own into Frank Lampard’s plans.

The 22-year-old striker has regained form when he returned to the Bruges Club in Belgium after scoring seven goals in 12 appearances.

Cercle has the option to sign him for 5 million euros, but the London-born centre forward is determined to take a position at Chelsea, just as Abraham and Mount did after a transfer out of the club.

He told Sport/Foot: “I’m a true Londoner and, in my opinion, Chelsea will be the biggest club in the capital.

“Chelsea would be the dream. As a child, I admired Didier Drogba and John Terry.

“It’s up to me to turn out that I’m in a position for a imaginable return. “

Chelsea will be involved in January for Bayern Munich defender David Alaba.

The central’s flexible contract with the Bundesliga giants expires next summer and has not yet indicated an extension.

German publication Bild reported that the 28-year-old is a target for Lampard’s team and is believed to be in his crosshairs.

Alaba will be a valuable asset if he makes the decision to finish his long deal with Bayern, having helped his team win nine Bundesliga titles and two Champions League wins amid huge silver loot.
