Chelsea, the club that will connect with Brighton’s Ben White

Ben White is a product of the Brighton system.

While the 22-year-old made his senior debut with the Seagulls in 2016/17, however, White has been part of Brighton’s first team ever since.

Instead, the central defender, who can also play as a defensive midfielder, has been on a number of loans.

The last of those loans took place last season and through White’s impressive high.

The Englishman dropped the 2019/20 championship at Leeds United.

Leeds, of course, secured their long-awaited return to the Premier League, having overtaken the league by a wide margin.

And White controlled to appear in the 46 exits of the Peacocks League, a key role at the Yorkshire-based club, while maintaining the tightest defense of the division.

So it’s no surprise to hear that White is attracting the interest of several Premier League teams.

White has returned to the shining club in Brighton, but Leeds seems to make the permanence on Elland Road bigger, saying recently that the Seagulls had turned down a 22 million pound offer from Marcelo Bielsa.

Premier League champions Liverpool has been named as an interested party.

And now, on Sunday, some other English heavyweight took a step for the whites.

According to the Sun, Chelsea will “hijack” Liverpool’s resolve for the Brighton defender.

It has already been claimed that Frank Lampard will have to transfer to one of his existing central defenders before making a new addition, and Sunday’s Sun report says the Blues are willing to have Antonio Rudiger fund a deal by White.

However, it is added that Graham Potter needs to remain White, which is until 2022, at the Amex, before giving the cap an initial position next quarter.
