Chelsea are said to be turning to stars from AC Milan and Inter to progress in a position, and the players who have been in it lately are being shown the door.
Les Bleus have two left-backs who have shared daily work in recent times. Marc Cucurella played 21 games in the Premier League last season, while Ben Chilwell played thirteen times.
The decision to persist in the former made it less difficult due to the injury problems suffered by the latter.
But Cucurella’s form means that if Chilwell had been available for much of the season, he could still have been benched.
Even though the Spaniard has performed well in sixth place in the Premier League, which led his country to a starting position at the European Championship, he could be expelled from the club.
In fact, HITC reports that Chelsea are keen to bring in their left-back duo.
And they would be willing to kick either of them out the door if given the option they wanted.
Les Bleus turn to Serie A in search of this man.

Theo Hernandez, of AC Milan, is a player who “they admire enormously”.
Not only that, but the attacking full-back, who scored five goals and 11 assists in all competitions last season, would be compatible with new boss Enzo Maresca’s system.
While Bayern Munich are close behind, Chelsea must get ahead.
And if they fail to secure Hernandez (who is reportedly worth £60m), Milan’s home rivals Inter could be in jeopardy.
In fact, Inter left-back Federico Dimarco is said to be on the list.
He’s been on the Blues’ radar for a while and remains there, according to the report.
He and Hernandez either for their respective nations at Euro 2024.
If the decisions of either man do not come to fruition, Chelsea could reportedly simply opt for Bradley Locko and Milos Kerkez. Les Bleus have largely followed any of them in recent months.
