Chelsea vs Servette player ratings: Pedro Neto organizes the tempting meeting of the wolves; The offensive duo is frustrated

Chelsea got their first win of the Enzo Maresca era by beating Servette in the UEFA Conference League play-offs.

After a very even first half, which ended goalless and with some Chelsea fans booing their team, the Blues took the lead thanks to a penalty from Christopher Nkunku.

They doubled their lead later in the half thanks to Noni Madueke, who punched the ball in off a pass from Enzo Fernandez.

Chelsea now go into next week’s game in Switzerland with a two-goal lead.

Simon Collings at Stamford Bridge to watch Chelsea in action. . .

Filip Jorgensen 6

A blank sheet of paper at the beginning. I honestly didn’t have much to do, but I went blank and tidy when he called for action.

Axel Disasi 6

Linked with a move before the move window closes this month, but was fined here. He formed a defensive trio when Chelsea had the ball.

Tosin Adarabioyo 6

A guaranteed functionality for its debut. Dominant in the air and looking in the middle of the defense when asked.

Benoît Badiashile 6

There was a lot of ball as Chelsea seemed to play through it. I didn’t uproot any trees, but it’s usually fine.

Renato Veiga 6

He played as a left-back but dropped back to midfield when Chelsea had the ball. A solid performance, with some forceful tackles.

Moisés Caicedo 6

Captain for the night and put in a solid performance. He also interrupted play when necessary and kept things on the ball.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall 6

He brought a lot of strength to the midfield and tried to influence both areas. The last ball was rarely missing.

Pedro Neto 7

One of the players in a lackluster first half. He beat his opponent on several occasions and may retain his position on Sunday when Chelsea return to his former club, Wolves.

Christophe Nkunku 7

He won a penalty before returning home. I’m still in wonderful shape after a long season away, but I’m strong at times.

Mykhailo Mudryk 5

An infuriating player to watch. Capable of some brilliant moments of skill, but missing the ultimate ball.

Marc Guiu 5

He looked in the first half and connected the play well, but missed an absolute shot after the break with the goal open.

Replacements

Cole Palmer (Guide 57′) 6

Some great touches, as expected from him. He played as a wide number 10.

Noni Madueke (Net 57′) 7

From the bench and in the minutes. He scored his goal after a great ball over the top.

Enzo Fernández (Nkunku 57′) 7

He sets up Chelsea’s goal with a good ball over the top. A luminous appearance on the bench.

Roméo Lavia (Caicedo 85′) N/A

Subs used: Sánchez, Bettinelli, Colwill, Gusto, Cucurella, Jackson
