Chelsea allegedly knew their first goal for the January move-in window: after the Premier League club spent more than 250 million pounds over the summer, coach Marina Granovskaia was once again busy negotiating the arrival of new recruits for Frank Lampard’s team.
One of the top names on the list is RB Leipzig’s beloved left-back Matthew Bondswell, according to the most recent reports, although Chelsea will have to fight West Ham for the defender’s hiring.
Bondswell, 18, is on loan for one season at Dordrecht, with Leipzig short to gain more experience in the first team, so he has played seven games with the Dutch team.
The youngster has been crowned in England in all grades of the organization from age to under 18 and is poised for a brilliant long career in the game.
And Chelsea and West Ham are tracking theirs just over a month before the January move-in window opens.

According to a Telegraph report, London’s rivals are several clubs that are tracking their progress.
Chelsea, of course, signed Ben Chilwell over the summer, and the forty-five million pound guy immediately settled as Lampard’s first-choice left-back.
Chilwell’s arrival from Leicester has left Marcos Alonso and Emerson Palmieri fighting for the role of understudy; either player has been connected to Stamford Bridge moves.
A move in January for Bondswell would give the teenager time to expand at Chelsea, with a view to one day being in a position to challenge Chilwell for a place in the first team.

Meanwhile, Chilwell hopes to face Sevilla in the Champions League on Wednesday after fearing he would injure his ankle in Sunday’s 0-0 draw with Tottenham.
There was some fear at the time Ben Chilwell lost to Jose Mourinho’s team.
England miscalculated his ankle and required medical attention for a few minutes.
But Chilwell managed to put an end to the attack and proved that the challenge was not serious.
“I’m desperate to move on and fortunately I made it,” Chilwell told the chelsea club’s official website.
“Everything’s fine now, so I can’t wait to recover and play again in the middle of the week. “
