Chelsea’s summer plans

Chelsea’s revolution under Frank Lampard went up a bit on Friday night, as confirmed by Kai Havertz’s 90 million-pound movement.

The 21-year-old joins for a down payment of 71 million pounds, plus add-ons and signed a five-year contract.

“I am very satisfied and proud to be here,” Havertz said on the club’s website.

“For me, it’s a dream come true to play in a big club like Chelsea and I can’t wait to meet all the players and coaches. Yes, I’m very pleased to be here!”

Havertz wasted no time in showing off his new colors, and Chelsea released an image of his new recruit in a uniform at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has shorened up an incredibly impressive movement window for the Blues, with manager Frank Lampard subsidized until we begin a new era of Stamford Bridge.

Prolific Germany ahead Timo Werner, Ajax’s Hakim Ziyech and Leicester’s English left-back Ben Chilwell have reached west London in agreements.

French under-21 defender Malang Sarr has big promises after signing a loose play but will pass on loan, while Brazilian pillar Thiapass Silva came from Paris St Germain.

The Blues fought after their movement ban and lost talisman Eden Hazard to Real Madrid last summer, the stunning new Boss Lampard in a difficult first year at the helm.

Former England midfielder and Chelsea secured a fourth Premier League position and a Champions League ranking in their first control campaign, and has now won significantly for the review of their Stamford Bridge team.
