Chelsea’s target, Declan Rice, questions top FA Cup referee Anthony Taylor as Blues enthusiasts fall asleep in an ’embarrassing’ performance

The blues enthusiasts met the referee after a series of decisions against the Blues in the 2–1 loss at Wembley.

Several primary incidents to pass towards Arsenal, with the expulsion of Mateo Kovacic after an incredibly comfortable moment with yellow card, the highest decision.

Chelsea enthusiasts were also outraged by the resolve not to give Chelsea a fault overdue at the edge of the area, and by Arsenal goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez, who appeared to be driving out of the area.

The statistics appeared to be Chelsea’s complaints, with the Blues awarding 14 fouls to just two Arsenals and racking up six warnings to one.

And West Ham star Rice, who played for Chelsea when she was young and back wanted at the club, summed up the emotions of many fans.

He wrote on Twitter: “Some of the facts in this game today…”

Chelsea enthusiasts have been much more candid with their anger.

LDNFootball wrote: “One of the most embarrassing arbitration performances I’ve seen at Anthony Taylor today.

“The Kovacic red card is an embarrassing resolution – the terrible yellow mountArray … shocking.”

Uber Chelsea added: “You, Anthony Taylor. I hope this makes you happy.

“Dear God, you’ve ruined the last thing to get the trophy, I hope you’ll use the cash prize to inform you with a little grace and decorum because you have all the grace of a truck sold without tires.”

Younes said: “It looks like corruption at its best. That’s the way it is.”

While Ali wrote: “It’s no wonder Arsenal can’t get the fees of [Thomas] Partey.

“They paid Anthony Taylor a share to play in the Europa League.”

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard was also not inspired by the referee.

He thundered after the game: “It’s far from being [a red card] and it’s a game changer.

‘I can’t blame the boys’ effort for pushing, but it’s never a red card, once again, we didn’t do enough to win the final.

The VAR may simply not override Anthony Taylor’s resolution because of the rule that he cannot worry about yellow card incidents, a rule that Lampard believes the FA review.

He continued: “What kind of rule is this? There was one about how you couldn’t challenge two yellows.

“Someone is sitting there, stubbornly glued to their guns in that one because if we have VAR, it’s great.

“Let’s use it as much as possible to make the right decision.”
