Christian Pulisic opened up about his pride in being named Chelsea’s new No. 10 after a solitary crusade at the club.

The American’s most recent comments, however, have made it clear that Pulisic himself feels completely ready to take on the additional wait that accompanies his new issue.

In an interview with CBS Sports this weekend, the 22-year-old was drawn to his resolve to succeed Willian as London’s new 10-year-old.

And Pulisic then revealed that he was, in fact, the driving force of change, explaining:

“It meant a lot. It’s no secret that this is my favorite number. That’s the number I was looking to be. “
