Manchester City captain Kyle Walker will sign up for AC Milan on loan and has finished a gleaming remaining seven and a half at the Etihad Stadium.
The two clubs have reached an agreement on a deal that will give the Italian side the opportunity to buy the 34-year-old in the summer. Walker is now in Italy to complete the paperwork for the move.
The England right-back informed the city of his preference to leave the club and pursue opportunities earlier this month.
Walker suffered a complicated crusade at City and has not played a game since his Derby loss to Manchester United in the Premier League on Dec. 15. He was left out of his FIT team for his last 4 games.
Walker has helped the city win 17 trophies – six Premier League and Champions League titles – since joining the club in a £45m replacement from Tottenham in 2017.
Previously, he was close to leaving when Bayern Munich showed interest in the summer of 2023, but opted to stay and signal a new contract with City, which runs until 2026.
