The classic rally in the UK restarted over the weekend when the Historic Endurance Rally hosted the first major occasion since the COVID-19 pandemic.
Although much of the rally in the special remains suspended due to regulations on the number of other people allowed in the woods, the classic rally resumed effectively and 94 competition took part in the Bicester Challenge 2 event, which ended Saturday in Bicester. Place of Heritage.

The HERO made adjustments to general procedures during the course of the rally, following the well-established format of special tests timed on personal ground and sections of low-speed regularity on the public road. The 150-mile course underwent special testing at Bicester Heritage and the rally school site in Turweston.
The online signing and revisions to technical and collection practices were some of the necessary adjustments to align the occasion with COVID-19 and there was no awards ceremony, however, the occasion received praise from competitors, adding a rookie organization to the rally.

Although HERO organised a beginner-only occasion at the end of August, the Bicester Challenge 2 will be the first major rally of its kind in the UK since March. HERO’s next occasion, the summer test, will take place at the end of September for two and a half days from a base in Telford.
