Kelly likes to highlight the 2017-19 record of 33-6, and now her new number is 29-3. It doesn’t face the fact that Notre Dame has a 1-3 record in his last four games against ranked teams.

Kelly’s right, his show may not “take place” simply by beating Clemson, but neither will his show take place if he doesn’t start winning matches like this. This is the first impediment to this arrival, which Notre-Dame enthusiasts have been waiting for for 11 seasons. You nailed it in the Bryan video, Kelly doesn’t want him to like it, but it’s a measuring stick game. Regardless of what you want to believe, your record for the last three seasons has done nothing to replace the national narrative about Notre Dame. Many still see us as a paper tiger who can’t beat the big ones. He’s had a chance to replace that and, like you said, he wants his team to be ready to empty the tank to do that. Explanation of why stay anything for British Columbia. You pass out, leave everything in the box to beat Clemson and worry about British Columbia after that.
I agree that this game is a measurement tool and maybe how your legacy will be perceived, but I don’t think it’s rude or condescending towards Somogyi. This is not a smart signal, even if it handles expectations, especially given the way BK has done it. raised Clemson himself several times this year. That’s what it is, I think it’s the year to beat them, especially without Lawerence. I say they have a 40% chance of winning. They may want the defense to give them short throws with ball losses, and preferably they can run the ball effectively, which they have been unable to cope with UGA and Clemson in recent years.
