Club supports public art initiative to raise funds for local hospice

The club has sponsored a piece of art that will be part of the Big Fun Art Adventure in Haringey over the next 8 weeks, raising a much-needed budget for the Hospice of North London.

A colourful 6ft tall statue of an owl called ‘Tottenham Hootspur’ has been hand-painted through Murwalls (the artists are the artwork by Ledley King and Harry Kane adorning the High Road) and will live outdoors in the Percy HouseArray, the iconic Grade II indexed house. . of the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation, over the next 8 weeks. The statue was unveiled today through our legendary former captain Gary Mabbutt.

‘Tottenham Hootspur’ is one of 30 colorful owls, sponsored through local organisations, that can be discovered on the adventure trail, celebrating the culture and creativity that North London has to offer.

Local citizens and visitors to the domain will now need to follow the trail and locate owl structures through the trail app. The app can be downloaded from the Google Play Store, Apple Store, and through the Big Fun Art Adventure website.

Paper maps can also be picked up at the Big Fun Art Adventure pop-up shop, near the main façade of The Mall in Wood Green. They can also be collected from all North London Hospice charity department stores and Haringey libraries. , as well as Asda and Tesco at Tottenham Hale.

The North London Hospice, which serves the districts of Barnet, Enfield and Haringey, chose owls as inspiration for the tour as they are known for their wisdom and kindness.
