Jamain Stephens, a defensive lineman from the University of California, Pennsylvania, died Tuesday at the age of 20 of COVID-19 headaches.
The school released an official of Stephens’s death: “The University of California, Pennsylvania, is saddened to be informed of the death of Jamain Stephens, an elementary school student in business administration and a senior at the soccer team. Cal U mourns the loss and offers condolences to the circle of family and friends. “
“Jamain was a wonderful student with a smile on his face every time I saw him,” athletic director Dr. Karen Hjerpe said in the school statement. “His personality was contagious and it had such a positive effect on each and everyone he met. “
According to Brad Everett of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Stephens graduated from Central Catholic High School in Pittsburgh in 2017 and in his senior year at Cal U.
Stephens gave the impression in 32 games for the Vulcans in three seasons.
