The football match between LSU and USC is getting closer and closer. All eyes will be on the quarterbacks who update the last two Heisman Trophy winners. Brockermeyer evaluated the six new quarterbacks who will replace the 2024 NFL first-round picks at their respective schools. The list of schools is USC, LSU, North Carolina (Drake Maye), Michigan (J. J. McCarthy), Washington (Michael Penix), and Oregon (Bo Nada).
Nussmeier has a position ahead of Moss. Here’s Brockermeyer on Nussmeier:
“Nussmeier plays with a gunslinger mentality, with a bit of luck sending tight shots over the body. He has a quick clearance and makes accurate passes when he puts his feet down, although his accuracy can be affected under pressure. LSU has a favorable schedule in from the start, which will give Nussmeier time to get comfortable.
A favourable timetable at the start of the course? Brockermeyer obviously thinks USC’s defense is a favorable game for Nussmeier and LSU. The Trojans will have to prove that they are not, in fact, a favorable opponent to LSU’s offensive.
