It would take some crazy chances to replace the playoff symbol at this past stage, but crazy chances have been an integral component of school football for decades.
Even with that in mind, the No. 1 from Alabama and the No. 2 from Notre Dame probably won’t lose their positions this weekend. and Fighting Irish 1-9 host Syracuse, which equates to a set-up for ACC’s naming game in two weeks.
We will turn our attention to the search for the coveted remaining positions among the 4 most sensitive in the force leagues.
Here are the five games with the highest chance of having an effect on the race:

A few weeks ago, it seemed like the toughest control left on Clemson’s calendar before his long-awaited rematch with Notre Dame for the ACC title. That might still be the case, but it was last noted that the Hokies were tricked by the same Pittsburgh team as the Tigers had just demolished.
Clemson QB Trevor Lawrence showed no symptoms of rust after more than a month without a live pass. It’s not good news for the Hokies’ defense, which is ceding nearly 275 yards consistent with the game in the air, but consistent with the yodic coverage disorders on Hokies’ The Tiger Line can be consistent with Hokies’ De Justus Reed to generate heat. The Virginia Tech floor attack, led through RB Khalil Herbert and also with Field Marshal Hendon Hooker, is also expected to keep Clemson’s offensive out of campo. LB Baylon Spector will lead Clemson’s efforts to contain the Hokies.

The Aggies, unless Alabama collapsed incredibly unlikely, would possibly not win the SEC. They will have to reach the final line with a single defeat opposed to Tide to bring their most productive case to the playoffs committee. the aforementioned Crimson Tide in his last outing, now only seeks to save a winning season.
Texas A
Saturday, ET, ABC
Now that the Buckeyes have been able to resume their football activities, they will be strongly favored when they return to battle. The Spartans, who have just overthrown an undefeated department leader in the Northwest, will have another impact. Buckeyes quarterback Justin Fields was not exactly unstable on his last outing, unlike Indiana, but he wasn’t at his most productive time either. With the help of the RB Master Teague III, however, the LB Antjuan Simmons and Spartan plugs limited Northwestern to just 63 yards Michigan State QB Rocky Lombardi is disjointed but will have to be almost very productive to stay up if the Buckeyes start accumulating points. WR Jalen Nailor will be the most likely opposite game to Ohio State’s CB Shaun Wade.
Saturday, 3:30 p. m. ET, ABC
The Hoosiers, still well-equipped in the Big Ten East given the uncertainties of the Ohio state calendar, recovered well from their heartbreaking opposition to the Buckeyes. Unfortunately, they lost their quarterback in the proceedings and face off against the Badgers, who can no longer play. for the convention championship due to too many COVID-19 cancellations, but can still be positioned for a desirable bowl destination.
The good news for Indiana is that quarterback Jack Tuttle did a credible job in relieving Michael Penix Jr. , who left the Maryland game with a season-ending knee injury. He has hard guns on Ty Fryfogle and Whop Philyor WR, and he will have to use them to keep LBs Jack Sanborn and Leo Chenal at bay. Wisconsin also had offensive difficulties in their last outing, unlike Northwestern. Quarterback Graham Mertz can just take a look at a deep ball or two earlier to open things up for RB Jalen Berger, but CB Tiawan Mullen and the best school in Hoosiers will be ready.
Saturday, 3:30 p. m. ET, ESPN
It would take a lot of chaos, however, there are scenarios in which the big 12 champion can climb to the 4 most sensible of the final playoff rankings. Mountaineers are the last impediment in the state of Iowa to an end.
It doesn’t sound eye-catching, however, the Iowa state offensive is effective, with an average of 6. 5 yards consistent with the game. The QB Brock Purdy does enough to be consistent with the BREece Hall RB to close the overdue transaction when the formula works. LB Tony Fields II and CB Alonzo Addae will have to seize their third chance to leave the field. There may be yards to pass for field marshal Jarret Doege and RB Leddie Brown of the WVU, but LB Mike Rose and ISU defense can get regularly saved if needed.
