NC State (6-3) slept for a 15-14 home win over No. 21 Liberty on Saturday night. As Saturday’s competition approached, all discussions were about the offensive, with groups averaging 74 problems consistent with the game of the season. It was the defense of the wolf herd that prevailed in front of the flames.
Supporters Isaiah Moore and Payton Wilson broke the way for the Pack, combining for 25 tackles, adding 3. 5 for a loss and half a bag, and three quarterbacks in a hurry. Jakeen Harris, Isaac Duffy and Aydan White all had interceptions, while defensive finishing Daniel Joseph had 1. 5 catches.
Offensively, State relied on midfields Zonovan Knight and Ricky Person, who with a combined total of 230 yards and two runs.
