Benjamin Rollheiser is the target of preference in South America and Europe after triumphing in the student jersey. At Corinthians, however, there is no more dispute.
In an interview with radio Guaíba, Rubens Gomes, director of Corinthian football, showed that the team had given up hiring the number 10 shirt to communicate about the conflict with Benfica and Botafogo.

“A league for Benfica, because I think Benfica is in the negotiation, and since I had the opportunity to negotiate Verissimo, I contacted Rui (Costa) to find out if he is in the negotiation with Benjamín,” he said.
“Ele falou ‘estamos’. Eu só fiz uma consulta ao Benfica. O Botafogo também está negociando, está com SAF, já viu como é. Era um jogador monitorado, mas que não fizemos nenhum tipo de contato”, seguiu.

Rollheiser was born in River Plate and started working as a coach in 2020. After a year, he moved to academics and had a bigger era in his career. In 2023, he will be compared to Lionel Messi.
