BARCELONA, Spain (AP) – It turns out that the Spanish football league ended just in time.
The league ended three weeks ago with Real Madrid winning the club’s name and club administrators breathing relieved that the resolution of returning to the festival after a four-month closure by the coronavirus pandemic is correct.
The timing of the apartment wasn’t so lucky. A primary outbreak at a club on the last day of the season threw the festival into chaos that was resolved a few weeks later.
But after a short summer vacation, clubs in the first department run into a handful of infections after their players return to war for the preseason.
The last club to be beaten is Real Valladolid, who announced on Thursday that a member of his team or squad had tested positive for SARS-CoV-2.
This came a day after Athletic Bilbao said that six players had been infected. They met themselves on social media.
The organization included Bilbao striker Iaki Williams, who said he was symptom-free and “stay home until he succeeds on the virus” and can sign for the team.
Real Betis striker Loren Morón announced that he had also tested positive, and Osasuna said coach Jagoba Arrasate also got it.
The most recent instances seem when clubs review their groups and return to education before starting the pre-season.
But there have also been cases in groups still competing for titles.
Atletico Madrid had a massive scare when Angel Correa and Sime Vrsaljko tested positive when the team went to Portugal for the 8 Champions League finals. The rest of his teammates came back negative and were able to travel. The club does not rule out that the striker and the defender can sign for the team later if they do so quickly.
Barcelona, by its component, had stated in a position that a player who was not part of the team in a position to play in the Champions League had tested positive.
Sevilla also had a positive player before travelling to Germany to play in the Europa League.
Real Madrid striker Mariano tested just before travelling to Manchester City in the 16th Tour of the Champions League, which he lost.
Strict hygiene, limits to the socialization of players and allowed the league to complete the last 11 rounds of the festival in June and July.
The accumulation of cases occurred in the midst of a momentary outbreak of the virus that causes COVID-19 in Spain, making it the main focus of concern in Europe.
The new Spanish league is expected to start in September, but a timetable has not yet been announced.
