Derby County coach Phillip Cocu has been named one of the first candidates for the next coach of the Dutch national team.
The current head coach, Ronald Koeman, set out to leave the post to take over from Barcelona.
It has been widely reported that Koeman will upgrade Quique Setien, who ignored Barca’s humiliating 8-2 defeat to Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
While discussions focus on replacing Koeman, the Rams leader Cocu, a former Barcelona player, has been the fifth seed to get the 12/1 role with bookmakers Sky Bet.
Ajax boss Erik ten Hag is the first of 3/1, followed by Dick Advocaat (4/1), Louis van Gaal (6/1) and Guus Hiddink (9/1).
Former Derby managers Steve McClaren and Nigel Pearson, meanwhile, are shots from a 50/1 range.
Dutchman Cocu has had a season at the helm of the Rams, having controlled PSV Eindhoven and Fenerbahce.
He was also deputy director of the national team, for which he won 101 games as a player.
