A couple was taken to the hospital with what a Saugeen Shores firefighter said were non-life-threatening injuries after their car crashed into a low-traffic area in Southampton at the intersection of Highway 21 (Albert Street) and High Street at 1:30 p. m. December 29.
Traffic was re-routed around the area for approximately two hours as crews dismantled the badly damaged pole and replaced it.
