Coutinho del Barcelona, absent for months after a knee operation

BARCELONA, Spain (AP) – Brazilian midfielder Philippe Coutinho will be offside for 3 months after surgery on his left knee, announced On Saturday Barcelona.

Coutinho, 28, underwent “a successful operation on the external meniscus of the left knee,” the club said in a statement.
