Crystal Palace expected to give up on El Hadji Malick Diouf deal after £12.5m bid fails

Slavia Prague expects Crystal Palace to continue an agreement for Hadji Malick Diouf.

Last week the Czech top-flight leaders rejected a bid from Palace worth £12.5million for the 20-year-old left wing-back, who is being tracked by a host of clubs from the Premier League and elsewhere in Europe.

Standard Sport understands that Slavia’s Palace will now look elsewhere for a January solution in the position after rejecting its initial approach.

But Diouf was the eagles’ target of precedence on the back left. Although Palace are not willing to match the player’s £20m valuation, they may wonder and come back with an offer forward.

Diouf is expected to leave the Slavia this month or in the summer, which made a healthy profit on the £2. 1m they paid to signal to the Norwegian Tromso side last January. The existing Senegal International Agreement in Slavia takes position until 2028 and involves a release clause.

Tyrick Mitchell is lately the only wonderful rear in the palace, and the position of the left back is one of the two positions of precedence of the eagles they claim this month. They need Mitchell to face a wonderful festival for their place.

Palace endured a poor entrance to his first full season under the manager Oliver Glasner, but a record of only one defeat in his last nine games saw them ascend at the Premier League table to 15th place.
