Crystal Palace host Southampton at Selhurst Park in London on Saturday for the first Premier League of the 2020/21 season.

There have been twenty-two games between those groups in the Premier League. The Saints have the head-to-head lead, with thirteen wins at 3 for Crystal Palace.

Palace was in terrible shape after the blockade, wasting all his last 8 games. His 1–1 draw here against the Spurs on the final day of the season was the only game to suffer the defeat.

Southampton, meanwhile, were unbeaten in their last seven games after the restart. Despite head-to-head matches such as Sheffield United, Everton and the two Manchester clubs, they pulled fifteen issues out of twenty-one of their matches.

Palace’s last home win over the Saints was a 3-0 win here in 2016. Their terrible post-restart start record, coupled with their long list of injuries, allowed them to start the day as 2/1 underdogs.

Two of the last three games between the clubs have ended in s still place. The odds of 9/4 should be had if you see them canceling on Saturday.

Southampton has won all 3 editions of its last 3 visits to Selhurst Park. They start the game as 11/8 favorites to do it again.

Two of the last three games between the clubs ended 1-1. The diagnosis of 101 Great Goals for Crystal Palace 1-1 Southampton is made with a score of 6/1.

Crystal Palace’s last home win over Southampton came in December 2016 with a 3-0 draw. A repeat of that score on Saturday is unlikely with a score of 33/1.

Southampton’s last two visits to Selhurst Park have resulted in 0-2 victories for the Saints. You can do it with 11/1 for the same score here on Saturday.

Eight of the Eagles’ last nine home games have noticed fewer than 2. 5 goals scored. You can make some other low-scoring game here on Saturday with a 4/6 chance for less than 2. 5 goals.

Jordan Ayew was Crystal Palace’s smartest scorer last season with nine league purposes; more than double that of any other Palace player. The Ghana foreigner has a 7/1 record to mark the opening of the attack on Saturday. or 5/2 to score a goal at any point in the game against Southampton.

Danny Ings Southampton is the wiser scorer in the 2019/20 season with twenty-five purposes in all competitions; five times more than any other Saints player. Ings is the favorite to be on the 10/11 roster. You can back England foreigner on 8/5 to get the first purpose of the game.

Neither club has had busy summers in the moving market. In fact, much of the discussion at the Palace is about who they pointed out to, but about strikers looking to point out before Saturday’s match against Southampton.

Michy Batshuayi, the 26-year-old Belgian centre forward, has been loaned by Chelsea. Batshuayi spent three and a half months on loan at Crystal Palace at the end of the 2018/19 season, scoring six goals in thirteen games. in all competitions.

The Eagles have been connected to Jean-Philippe Mateta, the 23-year-old French centre forward for mainz of the Bundesliga.

While either is capable of betting on the role of lone striker Roy would like, Batshuayi feels the ultimate dynamics of the two. Well both in the air and on the ground, it can run or be short and hold the game.

Mateta is more your stereotypical target of 192 cm, a focal point in the attack to hold the ball and put others in play, it is not offering much speed to be the teams, but with Zaha and Eberechi Eze in the bands, maybe that is the intention.

Southampton’s taste for the game is now well established. Ralph Hasenhuttl has caught up with this urgent, high-intensity Bundesliga attack and it turns out he’s still in control of clicking for it in the Premier League despite everything.

However, as we see it in the Premier League, this can create a clash of styles. Southampton have a tendency to thrive against groups willing to play from behind, thanks to their press. This provides a quick area for Southampton to attack once. they have regained possession.

But, with a huge disabled list, Hodgson will most likely keep his look deep and play for a point making his team difficult to break, forcing Southampton to review to create areas with his technical capabilities.

Eze is Palace’s summer firm in the current state of things. England’s under-21 foreigner, 22, joins Queens Park Rangers for about 16 million pounds.

Nathan Ferguson, the 19-year-old right-back signed from West Bromwich Albion, also strengthens the team. While the big question is whether Wilfried Zaha will still be there when the window closes, zaha seems to be staying lately, despite ongoing rumors linking him to a move to Everton.

For Southampton, we communicate more about departures than arrivals. Pierre-Emile Hujbjerg will leave a hole in his midfield after leaving for the Spurs in a 15 million pound deal. Central midfielders Harrison Reed and Mario Lemina, who spent last season on loan, have also not signed for Fulham.

Cedric Soares, Jack Rose and Maya Yoshida left the club in loose transfers after the expiration of their contracts. Kevin Danso, the 21-year-old central defender, has returned to Augsburg when his transfer expires.

Mohammed Salisu is Southampton’s signing of the summer so far. The 21-year-old center-back joins Real Valladolid in Spain for £ 11 million.

The transfer of Kyle Walker-Peters from the Spurs has also become permanent as part of a 12 million pound deal. Former players on loan Fraser Forster, Josh Sims, Guido Carrillo and Wesley Hoedt may be offering new features if they remain at the club. .

London, ENGLAND – DECEMBER 12: Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson watches the Premier League match between Crystal Palace and Watford at Selhurst Park on 12 December 2017 in London, England (Photo via Catherine Ivill / Getty Images).

Roy Hodgson has a long list of injuries to deal with before naming his starting lineup for the season’s opening. He faces a type of defense crisis with no fewer than five defenders missing due to injury.

James Tomkins was injured during filming. He suffered some other thigh injury in the preseason, which left him out for the first game of the season.

His spouse, center back Gary Cahill, could be out for the foreseeable future. Cahill has a thigh, and Hodgson explains that there is an affected tendon in the muscle tear.

First-choice left-back Patrick van Aanholt will be absent. His shoulder was dislocated, requiring an operation and there is no delay for his return.

Palace summer headhunter Nathan Ferguson on the right side also has a knee injury. While you’re ready to go back, you won’t be worried about Palace’s first game.

Mamadou Sakho is also on his knees after suffering a thigh injury similar to Cahill’s. Sakho will miss the start of the season.

Christian Benteke plays with a cracked bone in his foot after the restart. It had already been misdiagnosed as a bone bruise. He is expected to be out for a few more weeks while he recovers.

The Eagles’ big summer signing, Eberechi Eze, has a 50/50 rating to be worried about on Saturday. He felt his groin in the preseason and, hopefully, the rest of the foreign weekend enough to recover.

SOUTHAMPTON, ENGLAND – DECEMBER 16: Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl celebrates his Premier League victory between Southampton FC and Arsenal FC at St Mary’s Stadium on December 16, 2018 in Southampton, UK (Photo a via Catherine Ivill / Getty Images).

By contrast, Ralph Hasenhuttl reports impeccable fitness in Southampton.

Sam McQueen has been out since October 2018 with a torn cruciate ligament and has struggled to regain his full form, but Hasenhuttl will decide.

Guido Carrillo injured his ham ham tendon while on loan at Leganés last season. Like McQueen, he is unlikely to play a role in the game. Rumors link him to a return to Argentina at Vélez Sarsfield before the game. window closed.

Danny Ings suffered a rather comical clash with Keiran Trippier in education with England. Fortunately, he did not suffer any lasting effects, he did not play for England against Denmark. Ings is expected to lead the line for the Saints here.

Mohammed Salisu is the player who will make his debut for the Saints on Saturday.

Crystal Palace FC’s XI will face Southampton FC.
