Danny Wilson has revealed that Celtic were interested in him ahead of his second spell with Rangers, admitting he doesn’t know what he would have done if the talks had been confirmed.
The former Hearts defender, who now plies his industry in the Scottish league with Queen’s Park after his stint in MLS, may well have joined a rare organisation of players to play for any of Glasgow’s clubs after admitting he spoke to agents about his departure. He told The Scottish Sun: “There have been conversations with agents, but the timing of them was not ideal. It wasn’t anything I was interested in at the time. Reflecting on his time at Liverpool, he said: “It’s not the right time in my career. It’s hard to say no to a club like that. I’m not in a position to make such a big move. Speaking about gambling at Anfield, he added: “It’s one of the most productive stadiums in the UK and recognised around the world. I haven’t been back since they remodeled it.
