Texas quarterback Deshaun Watson said last month he was looking to “squash” any publicity discussion floating around the team before the Nov. 3 deadline.
Watson didn’t. There’s been a lot of discussion about an agreement that would have sent receiver Will Fuller to the Packers until Tuesday afternoon.
Nothing was fed and it was a positive result for Watson. He and Fuller contributed to a 77-yard landing in Sunday’s victory over the Jaguars and Watson shared his emotions with Fuller after the game.
“It would have been hell if they had done that, that’s for sure,” Watson said, through Sarah Barshop. com espn. “Honn-tement. I am pleased to continue betting with Will. We have made many important moves. since I got to this league, [and we’re going] to keep doing it for the rest of this year and the rest of our career. “
This season did not pass as expected in Houston, however, the Watson-Fuller connection was positive. They are logged in for touchdowns in six consecutive games, but their combined time may end at the end of the year because Fuller is on its way to a loose agency.
The Texans changed the players and stayed with Bill O. Brien. Il created Watson.
