Italian journalist Mirko Di Natale confirms that Juventus are interested in signing Lille winger Edon Zhegrova.
The Bianconeri are lately looking for a place in next season’s edition of the Champions League and will therefore be looking to join their ranks this summer to challenge the European elite.
Thus, according to Di Natale, the Turin giants are lately following Zhegrova, who now has a real candidate to sign for the club, especially after Felipe Anderson’s snub.
The 25-year-old is a German of Kosovar origin. He has declared himself very level with his country and now has 34 caps and 4 goals for Kosovo.
The winger arrived at Lille in January 2022 from Basel and is slowly building himself up as a mainstay of the French club.
This season, Zhegrova has contributed 11 goals and nine assists in all competitions, earning the attention of several suitors, including Juventus.
In his column for TuttoJuve, Di Natale adds that the Bianconeri have already held talks with the player’s entourage.
The left winger has a contract with Lille until 2026. The journalist estimates that his contract is between 10 and 15 million euros.
He also warns Juventus about possible Napoli festivals, who are also on the player’s trail.
On the contrary, Di Natale denies Juve’s interest in Wilfred Ndidi. The 27-year-old Nigerian could leave Leicester City once his contract expires this summer.
However, the Old Lady is not interested in the midfielder’s services, as he will be available as a free agent.
