SAN FRANCISCO (AP) The San Francisco Giants received some timely changes to the bank to remain in the race for the playoffs.
Pinch hitter Alex Dickerson connected for a house run in the seventh and Austin Slater also went deep, helping the Giants beat the Colorado Rockies 5-2 Tuesday night.
Dickerson connected his first home run exactly 4 years earlier on September 22, 2016, with San Diego opposed to the Giants at Petco Park. It’s his 10th home run this season and the tenth this year.
It’s been a couple of weeks for Dickerson, after a false positive COVID-19 result that postponed a couple of games in his San Diego to return from the paternity list after he and his wife, Jennifer, welcomed his son. Levi.
