Dolphins Cordrea Tankersley after activating COVID list

The Dolphins announced that they had activated corner Cordrea Tankersley from the reserve list /COVID-19 before.

The team made Tankersley a third-round pick in 2017, however, it has played only 17 games in his career with 11 starts due to a knee injury.

He missed the entire season after breaking his anterior cruciate ligament in 2018.

Tankersley has 35 tackles (26 solo) and seven defensive assists.

The dolphins have also given up on long snapper Rex Sunahara, who signed three days ago. Miami signed Sunahara after the sixth-round pick Blake Ferguson entered the COVID-19 roster.

Since then, the Dolphins have activated Ferguson, so they don’t want two long snappers on the list.
