Borussia Dortmund will sign Ian Maatsen from Chelsea this month, sources told ESPN.
The 21-year-old has just one Premier League game this season and resources have said Chelsea are willing to let him leave in the January transfer window if a suitable offer comes along.

The Premier League side are willing to let Maatsen leave permanently, but in Germany Dortmund reportedly prefer a first loan.
Maatsen spent last season on loan at Burnley and Chelsea reached an agreement to send him back to the newly promoted Premier League side, the Dutchman rejecting that move.
Maatsen is primarily a left-back, but his playing time under Mauricio Pochettino has largely advanced into an attacking role. He made 15 appearances in total, adding 12 as a substitute.
Dortmund are also an urgent striker with plans to re-sign Jadon Sancho from a loan deal with Manchester United.
