Duendee 3-3 Celtic: Arne Engels’ detention penalty wins the Premier League of Scotland in the six goals

Arne Engels marked the penalty position at the time of detention to give Celtic a dramatic draw in an epic of six against the Dundee.

Luke McCowan returned to Dens Park to show them what they had lost when he headed the Premiership leaders ahead early on.

Despite their dominance, Dundee signals at half-time, while an adewumi sole triggered an immediate counterattack.

It’s a dramatic encounter and Hyun-Jun Yang had the hoops only for Cameron Carter-Vickers to convert Josh Mulligan’s low cross into his own net.

Aaron Donelly’s idea that their first Dundee purpose had earned them their first win against Celtic since 1988, however, Mo Sylla has manipulated in the box and Engels wasn’t when they moved 16 problems to the most sensible of the table.

Dundee, who are unbeaten in 3 years, are seventh.

Celtic advanced in the fifth minute after Greg Taylor scored its 200th Celtic appearance between the delivery of a better cross for McCowan to go to the maximum remote corner. The midfielder’s celebrations were silent.

Dundee had already had the possibility that Donelly’s return of Donelly recovered in the six -meter box of Celtic. Kasper Schmeichel stored Simon Murray’s head in his line.

However, Donnelly’s next in a long launch could not do the penalty picture and led to a Celtic possibility at rest. Adam Idah lacked conviction when the tempting Cruz de Kyogo Furuhashi ran over and the ball deviated from the danger zone.

Celtic looked in control and were creating chances. Paulo Bernardo headed off the bar and McCowan forced a diving save from Trevor Carson.

The hosts were after temporarily damaging a Celtic corner.

Murray exploded from the edge of his box and Finlay Robertson put Adewumi to run in Alistair Johnston. Burnley’s Lorinee wrapped a shot in the corner while running in the box.

Celtic returned to the 53rd minute when Yang scored its moment in 49 appearances for the club.

The purpose came here from a low crossing of Furuhashi, which supports the game in a position towards the right wing. The ball left Carson’s hand when he prevented Idah from getting there and Yang showed the preference of winning the loose ball and passing home.

Dundee returned a minute later. Murray has advanced from Auston Trusty and sent Josh Mulligan Sprint into the box. The Vickers Carter slipped to block the low cross from the wing, but deflected it inside the post near Schmeichel.

The home side took belief from their second equaliser and created a series of chances. Adewumi and Robertson came close from long range and Ethan Ingram headed just wide from Mulligan’s cross before Cesar Garza shot well over from a half-chance.

In a sign of the way the game was going, Brendan Rodgers used all five of his substitutions before Tony Docherty made his first.

Docherty’s appearance was advanced before this is replaced after Donnelly took a step forward in the back post to direct Robertson’s corner towards the most sensible corner.

Dundee seemed to see the adjustment until Don Robertson issues the location and that eggs sends to Carson in the address of 3 minutes after the added time.

Dundee boss Tony Docherty told Sky Sports:

“I am disappointed because I have an idea that we had done enough to see the game, but I have to balance this and hire the character and personality of the team.

“When Celtic are bringing on the quality they’re bringing on, and I’ve asked Lyall Cameron to come on when he’s sick and not ready to play. Then I bring on Tiffoney, a striker to do a midfield role.

“I’m so proud about how much those boys give to me, give to their football club. That was bordering on heroic and it was a never-say-die attitude.”

Celtic Brendan Rodgers told Sky Sports:

“We lack an opposite attack on the ball, the duels and in our death. It is laterally or backwards, not aggressive enough.

“We are fighting until the end and we understand the point, however, we let a game get away from us who had a lot for 40 minutes.

“Give credit to Dundee because they fought themselves back into it, but when I look at us, we have to be much better than that.”

He singled out Auston Trusty for Dundee’s third complaint, adding: “You’re the centre of the half, you were given to be strong, you were given to be competitive and you were given to win your header. “

Kris Boyd:

“Celtic is very in advance in the League and complacency can be established, however, Brendan Rodgers can be maintained for the next two games in the Champions League.

“These are massive games for the football club, they have to keep themselves.

“That left-hand side of defence is an issue for them. You look at Trusty [before Dundee’s third], they’ve stood on his toe and he’s rolling about. You’ve got to be a centre-back, you’ve got to stand up.

“Celtic spent a lot of effective to call Engels and bring Idah. Idah back tonight, Wow, I don’t know what is happening with him.

“I get when you’re a striker and you’re not scoring goals you maybe overthink things but he just doesn’t be the same player that came up here last season.”

James McFadden:

“Brendan Rodgers speaks about being passive and not aggressive enough with the ball, but he’s actually speaking about Simon Murray on Trusty for the second goal and Trusty on Donnelly for the third goal.

“Rodgers puts it in all, but will we know that we know faithful that it is not acceptable”?

Neil Lennon:

“They are objective.

“He sets really high standards which the team maintain for long, long periods but when they drop off the standards then they need to be told.”
