Initially, the manager broke in after 96 hours, bringing out unrest with Dynamo’s ultra hooligans.
Lucescu said: “It is very unlikely for me to paint in a hostile environment without that of the ultras, which the club desires deeply in those times.
“I wish I could go back to a festival like we did a few years ago.
“I looked for a lot of excitement in the stands. Ukraine deserved it.”
But in a sudden replacement of heart, Lucescu has to lead the Ukrainian giants.
According to journalist Emanuel Rosu, the coach’s agent has shown that the 74-year-old Romanian coach will travel to Kiev to sign for the club.
Lucescu joined Dynamo on a two-year contract on July 23, having been exhausted since 2019 after finishing his tenure as head of Turkey.
But his appointment protested fiercely among the fans, given his 12 years as coach of Shakhtar Donetsk, Dynamo’s wonderful rivals.
The two clubs have one of the fiercest rivalries in world football.
Last season, Shakhtar taison’s midfield was prevented from attacking after reacting to alleged racism among former enemies.
