EA FC 25: release date and everything we know about the new game

The first trailer for EA Sports FC 25, the upcoming entry to the long-running football series formerly known as FIFA, will be released (July 17).

Developer EA Sports kicked off its marketing campaign ahead of the game’s first look, converting its social media to EA Sports FC 25 and showing, and then revealing, the new Ultimate Edition cover.

Following last year’s virtual team photo, this year’s lineup showcases a roster of real-life stars.

The game’s exchange cover photographs Barcelona superstars Jude Bellingham and Aitana Bonmati alongside legends Gianluigi Buffon, Zinedine Zidane and David Beckham.

After a thrilling performance at the Euros, Bellingham is also featured in photos on the game’s social media channels (along with Real Madrid teammates Kylian Mbappé and Luka Modrić), giving him an excellent chance to be the headliner on the cover of EA FC 25.

Here’s how to watch the game’s trailer when it arrives and we know about EA Sports FC 25.

You can watch the first trailer on the EA Sports FC YouTube channel (or below) at 4:57 p. m. on Wednesday, July 17.

Regular FIFA players have an idea of when the new game will be released, but, for casual gamers, that’s what we can glean from previous releases.

If EA follows its same previous schedule, the new game will arrive on the last Friday of September, more precisely on September 27.

Of course, it may be introduced in Early Access a week earlier, on September 20, to those who have purchased the special edition or to members of the EA Play and Xbox Game Pass subscription service.

Either way, expect everything to be revealed when the first trailer arrives tomorrow.

EA FC’s top 3 modes are rumored to have a new gameplay section, according to leaks on X (formerly Twitter).

Ultimate Team, which allows players to build a football team by collecting player cards and competing online, could introduce a new option called Penta. The focus will be on five-player online multiplayer matches with one main twist: only being able to control one player. of your Ultimate Team.

Originally called “Rush” and still subject to a call update before launch, the new one will distribute objective-based rewards in true Ultimate Team style.

Leaks have also discussed a new sub-mode for the crusade and clubs, but details are scarce about it. In the latter, you can create or sign up for a team with friends to compete online against other groups designed by you. virtual professional player.

One of the most debatable rumors that have surfaced in recent years on social media is that clubs (formerly known as Pro Clubs) are being completely removed in EA FC 25. It’s unclear where this dubious information came from, but the bottom line is that the mode will be canceled because it doesn’t make as much money as Ultimate Team.

Now the rumor has been denied by a leak. A news provider committed to football games called FGZ claims that the Clubs mode remains in place and will get a new and absolutely revised leveling formula in EA FC 25. The adjustments will give the clubs a more managerial feel, with some career elements still unknown. Imported mode for realism.

Meanwhile, the leaked card designs, which add a bright orange and purple Hero card and a modified Icon card, are the latest in a series of first looks at the upcoming game’s core cards, following the reveal of TOTW and Gold cards. So far, most of the EA FC 25 leaks come from football gaming site FUT Scoreboard.

EA FC 25 will most likely be available on all major platforms, adding PS5, Xbox, and PC. It’s possible that Nintendo Switch will also get an edition of the game, but potentially without some complex features due to the console’s old hardware.
