The Philadelphia Eagles banned the fan shown in a video that triggered a fight in the stands in Sunday’s 30-28 loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
John Clark of NBC Sports Philadelphia was the first to report the news, and Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network showed with the team that the fan had been expelled from Lincoln Financial Field. Garafolo added that philadelphia police were also involved.
The Eagles announced on October 13 that they would allow up to 7,500 enthusiasts to attend their Week 6 game in accordance with national and local guidelines.
A video went viral in which a fan dressed in a Carson Wentz T-shirt appeared descending from several rows of seats at the top point to face what gave the impression of being a Ravens fan, another user dressed in a Darren Sproles T-shirt worried about the incident and threw several punches.
The last Eagles fan is still uncertain.
Clark noted that the instigator had violated social distancing rules in place amid the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as broader stadium regulations at Lincoln Financial Field.
