Philadelphia designated Watkins (upper body) to return from the injured reserve on Tuesday, Chris McPherson reports from the Eagles’ official website.
The agreement opens a 21-day window in which Watkins can participate in the practice, while the Eagles compare it for a possible promotion on the 53-player list. Watkins missed the Eagles’ first three games due to an injury to the top of the frame, but if the training staff is satisfied with his position in practicing the fitness front this week, he may be allowed to make his NFL deyet as soon as Sunday in San Francisco. DeSean Jackson (corva tendon) and Jalen Reagor (thumb) with the threat of sitting in Week 4, in addition to the absence of the tight Dallas Goedert finale (ankle).
