Chelsea were one of the Premier League’s top assets on the move this summer.
His last addition to the window saw the Blues drive Edouard Mendy away from the Rennes Ligue 1 team, for a sum of approximately 22 million pounds.
The African played a key role in the fact that Rennes boasted one of the most productive defensive records of the French elite last season and has already shown signs that it would possibly have a similar effect in south-west London.
So far the stop-stop has only had 3 starts for Chelsea, however through the only appearances it has helped a fragile Blues bottom line to concede a single goal.

Now, before Chelsea’s next match with Manchester United, which is expected to begin, the 28-year-old has spoken to the media.
First, Mendy talked about his relationship with Kepa.
The Spaniard held out for about a year at Stamford Bridge, it’s no secret that Mendy signed to take The No. 1 spot at Kepa.
Despite this, Mendy insists that he has a “very relationship” with former Athletic Bilbao player:
“I have many appointments with Kepa.
“The goalkeeper organization we have, we are all very open, and we all perceive that the team is the ultimate here and that it does what is good for the organization. Our relationships are already very good.
“We paint well in combination and strive both day by day and both, and we know as goalkeepers that we have to stick together and we do now.
Mendy also commented on expectations of being a Chelsea goalkeeper, the Senegalese sub-share temporarily confident that no additional pressure will be exerted:
“Being in a club where they’ve played goalkeepers so smart is and very vital to me. I am aware of the expectations surrounding the goalkeeper position at Chelsea, but I will not strive or compare myself to the legends here. “.
“I just arrived so my purpose is to keep progressing and when the coach asks me to make sure I’m there for the team and that it succeeds.
