Barcelona have signed goalkeeper Ellie Roebuck from Manchester City on a flexible transfer.
The English foreigner joined the European champions after her contract with City expired, signing a two-year contract that will keep her in Spain until 2026.
The 24-year-old is the third Lioness to sign for the Catalan giants, with Lucy Bronze and Keira Walsh already at the club.

The 2019/20 Golden Glove winner was part of the City squad that won its first league title in 2016 and also won the FA Cup and League Cup three times during her time in Manchester.
Roebuck, who was part of England’s Euro 2022 winning team, lost her starting City role to current number one Khiara Keating, who won the 2023-24 Women’s Super League Golden Glove Trophy.
She says she is in a position to live a new experience and told Barcelona’s official website: “I’m very excited. I’ve been waiting for this opportunity for a long time. I am very satisfied to be here. to say that now everything is convenient in combination and that it is the best time to come.
“I need to review myself and live a new experience. There’s nothing better than here to do that, so I’m grateful to have this opportunity.
“I like to play with the ball at my feet and this is the ideal team to do it. I like the starting line-up and from the back, so I hope to bring my style.
