Bayer Leverkusen have finalised the signing of Emi Buendia’s loan from Aston Villa.
Athletics reported on Sunday that Buendia had agreed a new contract with Villa that would keep it in the club until 2027, and the club announced its extension by confirming its transitional game for the Bundesliga champions. The existing terms should expire in 2026.

28-year-old Buendia completed his medical with Leverkusen on Tuesday ahead of joining on a deal until the end of the season with an option to buy.
Leverkusen are in the market for the replacement of Martin Terrier, who is absent for the rest of the season after having torn his Achilles tendon.

Buendia joined Villa de Norwich City in 2021 in one agreement more than 30 million pounds sterling (now $ 37. 3 million) and made 97 appearances for the club, scoring 10 goals.
After his return from an injury to the past cross ligament (LCA), Buendia presented 20 times in all competitions this season, but widely used as a substitute.
Leverkusen is a moment in the Bundesliga and the leaders of Bayern Munich by six points.
Buendia’s loan on the same day as Louie Barry, who returned to Villa Park of a loan spell in stockport previously comte this month, joined the Hull City championship for a loan agreement for the rest of 2024-25.
Villa is the eighth in the Premier League, 4 numbers of the 4 most sensible.
